Upholstery and re-upholstery is one of our specialities. Mark Evans and his team have been upholstering furniture for over 20 years. Vast experience has been gained during this time by working with a huge range of furniture styles and types – from completely re-building a traditional item to creating a modern piece starting from the frame up.

We can make new items of furniture in any style, shape and size, to match existing pieces or to create a bespoke item.

All our new build frames are made from 100% solid beech with a choice of leg styles and colours. The piece is then upholstered in a fabric supplied by us from our vast selection (or chosen by you at a 10% surcharge)

Our re-upholstery service includes both re-styling and re-covering of modern furniture, as well as restoring antique pieces. For period furniture, we still use traditional methods with coil springs, webbing and horse hair. We serve Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.

The changing trends in fabric and design fuel a passion for upholstery and soft furnishings. TV programmes like BBC TV’s The Repair Shop and Money for Nothing are also bringing upholstery as a concept to many peoples’ attention

Either bring your item to our Winchcombe showroom or send us a picture by email – info@rapportinteriors.co.uk with dimensions and basic details of your requirements. Or we can in most cases collect the item from your home. Mark will then conduct an assessment to provide you with a clear, transparent quotation that will include pricing and an indication of timescales.
